The Construction Progress Report of Jilin 100 Cultural Square Project

It’s breezy and crisp in October and in this period, Jilin 100 Cultural Square project is under construction that is very closely. By the end of October 18th, the precipitation well completion and drain pipe connection work have been completed, the earth excavation has reached an extent of 25,000 m3, the supporting project has finished the ejector anchor work of the slope with a height of 4m in the west side, and the reinforcing cage welding work of 94 supporting piles and the pouring work of concrete of 10 supporting piles with a length of 27m have been completed. Besides, the “Five Standardizations” work required by the administrative departments in charge of construction is in the process.

In this year, Jilin 100 Cultural Square project aims to fulfill completely the supporting pile and top beam construction work, and also the depth of earth excavation reaches -4m and it won’t go on the earth excavation work further so as to reduce the cost of precipitation and survive winter maintenance. 

Because the depth of foundation pit is more than 20m, it can be said to be the deepest foundation pit in Changchun city, even in Jilin province. If the geology of the foundation pit is more than -10m in depth, it belongs to the mudstone layer and the hardness is gradually increased. Geotechnical Engineering Investigation Report points out that the deepest layer may be treated by explosion and it’s clear that the foundation pit support and earth excavation project work are very difficult to be constructed. 

 In view of the characteristics and difficulties of foundation pit, the real estate business department and foundation pit supporting unit, namely China Construction First Building(Group) Co., Ltd. make a scientific management and precise construction. They organize experts to draw up and review plans. By the choice of special equipment, such as “180 style long auger”, rotary drilling rig, crawler crane and reverse circulation drill, the project will be completed with good quality and quantity and the various equipment which are used at the same time will also provide a guarantee for the project.

The concrete progress is in the following:

1.The supporting project has finished the ejector anchor work of the slope with a height of 4m in the west side.

2.The reinforcing cage welding work of 94 supporting piles and the pouring work of concrete of 10 supporting piles with a length of 27m have been completed.

3.The earth excavation has reached an extent of 25,000 m3.

4.The “Five Standardizations” work required by the administrative departments in charge of construction is in the process.
